Went in right off the street. The beer is great, everyone there was as nice as can be and The Original Wing Dog was excellent. Glad that it is within walking distance, will be back soon!

I am an African American woman and I frequent the Dog Pub at least once per week. Not only is the staff not racist, but they are among the friendliest and most attentive I have found anywhere in Baltimore. If you have not been to The Dog Pub you should treat yourself to a night there soon!

John is an interesting name for a black woman. Previous review is suspicious.

This is a good neighborhood pub. food selection limited, but who really cares. Worth the trip. Especially the hop dog. That is there best beer. I hear they even brew their own now. Is that true.

Is now technically a brewpub upon acquisition of the former Clay Pipe Brewing brewing system; however, the beer is brewed outside of town and shipped in, not brewed on premises. The lineup is basically the same, with nothing more adventuresome than a "Dogtoberfest" this autumn. Time will tell if they start doing anything more ambitious than apparently attempting to clone the old Old Dominion recipes.

Went on Friday 9/29, early evening with my wife and a friend from out of town. Because I live a few blocks away this is usually a place I like to bring people from out of town have a good local beer. I ordered the Dogtoberfest for two of us and before I could get the mug to my mouth I was overwhelmed with the aroma of diacytl (sp?). I tried it and found it undrinkable. Definetly not the norm for here. I took the beers back to the bartender and told her I thought something was wrong and would like something different. Her reply was in a very snippy manner "Is there something wrong with it or you just don't like it?". I told her something was wrong with it and she became very argumentitive with me. I finally just told her I didn't like it and would like something else. Then she said to me that "I've had been drinking them all week and its fine. What are you a brewer or something"? Again I just ask for something different. She then informed me she couldn't just give beer away and would have to charge me for another round. So I picked up her tip and we left. Because I am a professional brewer, I don't like to post reviews, but this situation needed to be expressed. All of my past experiances here have been very good, but that was my last visit.

A friendly neighborhood bar. Found this with the help of my hotel shuttle driver (he got a good tip for this). Was a little out of place in business clothes (minus the tie), but still had a good time with the locals. Several four-legged locals as well, who were especially friendly when they noticed my pizza. Beer is not brewed in-house, but still very good and a good variety. Includes peach, raspberry and blueberry beers. Tried the Black Dog (irish stout) and Hoppy Dog (generously hopped american ale), both very nice. Limited menu, but good pizza - with an interesting variety. Locals called in several times while i was there for to-go orders ... means good food.

They have peach beer. And a buffalo chicken wing pizza (with the best ranch ever). Not to mention, theres not a bunch of sluts and hoes shaking their ass around to Lil Jon. My favorite Baltimore. Forget other bars in Baltimore exist.
